Why do I write?
I write because it's a way I can talk without speaking.
It's a way to express myself without direct contact.
It's the only area where I can be myself.
It's the place where I can vent,
talk about the pain and frustration,
but moments of joy and inspiration.
No filter,
not a soul telling me what they think I think,
or what they think I said,
or what they think I should say.
Writing is home,
writing is comfort and love.
Writing is peace.
