Dream Body

Some days I wish, 
I did not have to return from my dreams,
That I could stay there. 
where my body does not control my life,
and I can move freely.
Where I am not an extension of those around me, 
but instead a lone soul,
that can breathe and fly free.
A place where I no longer suffocate, 
from the burdens of life,
but instead, enjoy being alive.
A place where I can feel loved, 
without feeling alone.
A place where emotions and feelings are a thing, 
but do not control us.
A place where there is no more stress, 
pain, agony or suffering.
A place of peace and rest,
and freedom and love.
That's where I want to be.
